What these tiers tell you

This comparison gives equal weight to base attack, HP and speed. It can help you compare the starting stat budget of the selectable partners. It cannot tell you which move set, evolved build or co-op team will win.

The table below includes the 29 partners in the official starter roster. Legendary Pokémon and gacha-only partners are outside this comparison.

Scoring method

For each stat, divide the Pokémon’s value by the highest value among these 29 starters. Score = 100 × (attack / max attack + HP / max HP + speed / max speed) / 3. Equal weighting is our editorial choice, not the developer’s rating.

S: score at least 95. A: at least 90 and below 95. B: at least 85 and below 90. C: below 85. The exact source revision and checked date are linked below; ties sort by Pokédex number.

Why a lower tier can still be a good choice

Starting moves differ. Reach, cooldown, aiming, type matchups, weather, permanent upgrades and your ability to avoid damage can matter more than a small base-stat gap. The score excludes all of these.

Use the directory to compare starting moves before choosing. A C stat tier is not a claim that a partner is unplayable, and S is not a promise of longer runs.

What has and has not been tested

We extracted the starter roster and base game stats from the official public source revision dated October 14, 2026. The comparison was prepared October 15, 2026.

No controlled survival runs or damage benchmarks have been completed for this ranking. There are no win-rate claims, player votes or community consensus scores. The page remains an editorial preview until those checks are available.
